LATE MADAM ALICE OBIAGELI IBUZO (NEE ANIGEKWU)

Nneokwukwe, Mummysco, Odoziaku, Ajie, international grandma, madam Alice Obiageli Ibuzo, who was born on September 12, 1935 to Late Pa  Richard  Nwabueze Anigekwu and Ma Unoaku Anigekwu of Odoje, Onitsha.

Mummysco started her primary education at Immaculata primary school. After her primary education, she got admission into Awanya Domestic Science training center, Asaba, to study Catering, Domestic Science and Tailoring.

She met her best half, Mr. John Chukwuemeka Ibuzo of Umuaroli, Onitsha. They got married in Maiduguri.
Mummysco and her late husband had a fatal motor accident on their way to Onitsha from Lagos, in this accident he lost his left leg yet she stood shoulder to shoulder with him to have five more children and was the pillar of the family.
She stood by him and supported him to build a strong family and to build people up. They were known as the Bale of Lagos.

Mama’s marriage to her late husband was blessed with six children and grandchildren to the glory of God. She built lives, she helped a lot of our relations to excel in their academics and be positioned for a bright future. She was respected and loved by her family members, friends, neighbors and people that had the opportunity to encounter her.

The Queen mother. Odoziaku was the pillar of the family, homely, a great cook, always neat, jovial, loved praying and singing. A true epitome of the virtuous woman referred to in Proverbs 31: 10-31.

She always kept the faith. Nothing shook Mummysco’s faith. No matter how bad or how sad a situation was; she knew God was always in control. In difficult and painful times; Mummysco always ended with “rapu”“rapuluchukwu”and “no shaking”.

Nneokwukwe, a mother of faith, she was very prayerful, was an active member in the church. She was the first President of Christian Women Organisation (CWO), Saint  Mary's Catholic Church, Onitsha, Lagos branch. She was also a member of the Sacred Heart of  Jesus at ST. Anthony's Church, Gbaja, Lagos.

A businesswoman, a woman of Substance and the Chairman of Chesca Global Solutions Ltd. She lived for 83 years with a very sound mind, we always said that her brain is a computer, until the day she went to be with the Lord.

Mummysco loved to travel. She traveled to Uk with the late husband and made more travels to Uk and USA to stay with her children and see her sisters, family, and friends, that is why she was called International grandma.

Goodnight woman of God from all of us. We thank God and celebrate you for a life well spent. We know you are resting in the bosom of our Lord. You will live forever in our hearts and memories. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
